In 2012, Gerhard Richter became the most expensive living artist when his “Abstract Painting” (1994) went for $34 million. He repeated the record twice: first in 2013, selling “Cathedral Square, Milan” for $37.1 million, and then in 2015, when “Abstract Painting” (1986) was sold at auction for $44.52 million.

Cuī Rúzhuó

Cui Ruzhuo is a contemporary Chinese artist, calligrapher, collector and owner of several galleries.
